As a writer, I’m often asked: what kinds of books do you like? I usually say fiction or lyric essays, but these broad genres do little to define my style or taste.

 

Literature is not easily categorized, and therefore not easily found. In a world of alphabetically arranged bookstores and narrow Internet algorithms, it’s increasingly difficult to find the perfect read. That's why we created BookComb. 

 

BookComb is a book search engine powered by crowdsourced tags. To contribute to the project, input and tag your favorite books. The system will shelve these books into your chosen categories, making them easier to find.
